Shobha’s story is deeply rooted in her own life experiences in Sydney. What began as a personal quest to overcome trauma evolved into a mission to help others find balance, peace, and joy. Through her business, Lotus Holistic Wellbeing, she offers Empowering Wellness Solutions — blending Reiki, Yoga, Music, Movement, and Singing into unique “Stretch, Sway, Swing, Sing & Heal” sessions that nurture physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being.

Her work is a reflection of her diverse talents — a Teacher, Yoga Trainer, Reiki Practitioner, Lifestyle Mentor, and Professional Singer — each role seamlessly interwoven with her purpose of uplifting others.

Over the years, Shobha’s dedication has touched countless lives. From being interviewed on Australian Radio’s “The Spirit of Things” (2015) to receiving multiple awards for her community service and artistic talents — including recognition by Chandana TV (2010) and volunteering awards at the Indian Seniors Group, Hornsby (2015) — she has continually inspired others through her actions and voice.

Music has always been her language of love. For over two decades, Shobha has performed at charity events, temples, and community gatherings, captivating audiences in 10 Indian languages and English. Among her most cherished moments are singing at the Indian Consulate in Sydney during Independence Day and Republic Day celebrations from 2013 to 2016.

Her contributions have been recognised beyond the stage too — she has been featured in two inspirational books by Harmohan Walia, “Inspiring Indo-Australian Women Who Made a Difference” (2024) and “Success Stories of 50 Indo-Australians”, launched at the NSW Parliament in 2021.

A lifelong volunteer and philanthropist, Shobha has dedicated over 20 years to community work, including her leadership as President of GOPIO Sydney Chapter (2020–21).

Her efforts were also acknowledged with a nomination for the NSW State Volunteering Awards (2020). Today, she proudly represents the World NRI Social and Cultural Association (India) as President of its Australian Chapter, promoting cultural unity and global goodwill.

For Shobha, every event, class, and performance is more than just an offering — it’s a heartfelt expression of gratitude and love. Her message is simple yet profound:

“Healing, joy, and kindness are not just to be experienced — they are to be spread.”

Through her tireless work and warm spirit, Shobha continues to create ripples of wellness and positivity — one song, one stretch, and one smile at a time.

We are delighted to host two inspiring events by the multifaceted and intellectual Shobha Ingleshwar — Director of OM Multicultural Get2gethers and Lotus Holistic Wellbeing.
