A Heartfelt Thank You: Gargi Awards 2026 Recognition for Galaxy Event Center It's with profound gratitude and deep humility that I share the news of being named a top-3 finalist in the Visual Art & Architecture category at the 2026 Gargi Awards, presented by the Hindu Council of Australia, for the sustainable interior design of Galaxy Event Center. This recognition feels like a beautiful affirmation of a vision I've held close to my heart: creating inclusive, culturally responsive spaces that honor the diversity of multicultural Australia. The Power of Purposeful Design When I designed Galaxy Event Center, I wasn't just creating a venue—I was creating a sanctuary. A space where communities could gather, celebrate, and connect without compromise. Sustainable design paired with Sustainable design principles became the language through which I spoke: every material chosen, every space configured, every light directed with intention to foster belonging. The Gargi Awards recognizes women who lead with purpose, who bridge tradition and innovation, and who strengthen community through their work.
